Shivering because of the cold temperatures is the effort made by the body so that the body temperature back to normal. But ,what causes the body, so that it is resistant to cold temperatures?

When the body feels cold around the surroundings, it became shrunk from its origin shape. This is something that naturally happened. The main cause is the body is adjusting its own temperature to catch up with the temp, sue to keep the blood flow through out the body. Body is able to withstand cold weather for some amount of time, before it reaches its maximum threshold for low temperature. 

While the time is relatively according to the body condition itself. It really really depends on several factors. So, Yes, every body have their own resistance to extreme condition that may occurred. Basically the longer you can bear certain extreme condition, the fit and healthy you are. Of course this can not be a valid measure, but at least you can count on your body survival capability. 


For those whoa don't have high tolerance to those certain condition, and also to avoid of getting any frostbite and turn yourself into Jack,  you might wanna take a good look at these things below;

1. Body shape

Someone who has a thin body is usually not easily withstand cold temperatures. As opposed to the body  with fat, they usually have more endurance to withstand cold temperatures. Body fat energy reserves in the form of more fat. It is able to maintain body temperature within normal range when the temperature in the environment decreases.

2. Body health condition

When the body is in the state of being ill, the cold condition, the cold condition would be very annoying. In fact, the cold will come naturally in the environment even though the weather is hot. When the body is sick, the body's defense system is in a weak condition. As the result, the body's defenses can not work optimally to warm the body and regain its own temperature to simultaneously deliver the blood throughout the body as it supposed to.

3. Good habits

Good habits means a health lifestyle. Do exercises, eat well, drink well,sleep well, and avoid all bad habits such as smoking, drinking alcohols, and abusing drugs. Hence, their body will shaped into its tip top shape and gained the capability of easily adapting in almost circumstances. Childhood with lots of physical activities will have greater change to have good survival sense since their body is already well build up.

4 Healthy diet

Someone who set the pattern of food intake by eating a balanced diet, such as carbohydrates, vitamins, proteins and minerals(healthy food and beverages), most likely has the capability of receiving the change of temperature, in slight moment. In other words, the person is able to withstand in almost any condition which is need highly body adaptation. It will also different things will happen, if the person is rarely / lazy of doing activities and exercises, they will certainly be easier to feel sensitive to cold temperatures or sudden change of temperature.

5. Genetic condition

Someone who has a parent who can not tolerate the cold will also likely experience the same things as their parents. Although it is rare, but it is very possible. You can not blame this condition in order to live your full life. The only thing you could do is embrace it, and find a way to defeat it. Not making it as obstacles, but merely a challenge in your life to conquer. As in for examples is asthma. 

6. Body fitness

If the thyroid hormone is too low, then the body's metabolic system will be disrupted. That's what causes the body is resistant to cold. Basically, the better the person's metabolic system of the body temperature is also more stable and less likely to be sensitive to the cold air in the environment.

We all do not need extra efforts if we make the healthy stuffs above as habits on our daily life. Yes, it is very hard on the commitment at first try.
